1 Free Marketing Method To Attract Customers To Your Website – A Basic Guide To Article Marketing

by Tracey Dornelles

Sometimes getting involved in marketing on the internet there is ssssooooo much information that you can feel a little overwhelmed.

In the beginning I started signing up for free marketing videos here and there and I started to wade through some of the information, but then you end up getting swamped with lessons, video tutorials, blueprints etc and it just doesn’t STOP!

I knew I had a really great business opportunity, but without the cashflow to compete in the advertising world I almost gave up straight away.

But I decided to stick at it and try and wade through all the information to separate the credible from the crap.

So, what you want to do is generate traffic to your website. Attract visitors and encourage them to read through all your information and then purchase your product or enter some details so you can get in touch with them.

My website is for a business opportunity, so I ideally want people to leave their details so I can follow up with a phone call and email.

But how do I do that without wasting lots of money on Google Adwords or expensive niche advertising? Especially at the beginning, I didnt have much cash-flow, but I did have some time on my hands. Many new marketers think they have to spend money to make money. But think about what youre doing RIGHT NOW! Youre reading my article!

Im no wordsmith and this is hardly a literary masterpiece ” but Im getting the point across right? ARTICLE MARKETING is a silent weapon and best of all its FREE!

So why Article Marketing? Basically it gets your website link out amongst the online world and also helps boost your Google rankings.

Be consistent in writing lots of articles. Personally I wrote about 3-5 per week in the beginning and now just sporadically, but you could be writing that many per day or MORE!

You might also want to note: Write about things you know and that are related to what you’re trying to market. I help people set up their own online home businesses, so the idea is that someone looking to market online may want to know more about me and possibly team up with me because I have skills they’d like to learn.

And lastly …. KISS “Keep It Simple Stupid!” An old mentor said this to me one day and it doesn’t matter what industry you’re in it always applies and it definitely applies to the world of online marketing. Have fun and start writing!
